Empower Activity Camp extends its vision to enrich an individual’s personality and empower him / her
to be more effective in life, through empowerment of mind and body.
This will be achieved by practical, experiential learning,
combining spirituality and self realisation in natural, serene
and eco friendly environment.

| Outbound Management Programmes |
|
EMPOWER conducts personality enrichment programmes in a
specially designed outdoor camp. Emphasis has been laid on
natural, ethnic and serene environment. Besides a leisure outing
and a change from the hectic city life, it offers programmes
which are packed with fun and excitement. These modules are
novel, unique and purposeful. Campers are exposed to nature,
human values, morals and ethics, besides acquisition of life
skills. While they will find our programmes extremely
interesting and enjoyable, we have some hidden training
objectives aimed at team building, self empowerment, self
awareness, assertiveness, confidence building etc. Residential
camps will be conducted for durations ranging from two to ten
days, as per need of the programme. These camps will be
operational by June 2005. One day excursions have commenced and
have been extremely successful.

The camp, established on a sprawling 50 acres green table land,
has a vast variety of facilities with emphasis on nature and
village-like environment. A lake on one side and a hill on the
other make the camp site ideal for outdoor learning. Campers are
accommodated in elegant and comfortable Swiss Cottage tents with
attached toilets. Dormitory accomodation is also available.
Emphasis is laid on hygiene and sanitation and safety and security.
All programmes are customised to suit organisational
requirements.
Outbound experiential learning has proved itself as an
effective training tool for management development and
personality enrichment programmes. It is gaining popularity and
acceptance in Educational and Corporate sectors for the impact
it is making.

Empower is spearheaded by Brig Sushil Bhasin
who has taken pre mature retirement after a 34 years
brilliant
career in the Army to fulfil his passion for outbound training
and personality enrichment.
|
Brig Bhasin has rich and varied experience in the fields
of human resource development and training. He has held various
instructional appointments. He headed a training establisment,
has dealt with training at macro level in Army Training Command
and coordinated training in ASC Centre and College. He was also
Chairman of Army School Bareilly, where he developed a special
passion for children.
Adventure and outdoor activities have been a part of his
life since his early childhood in Shimla. He attended an Adventure
Course at HMI Darjeeling and was a member of the NDA Mountaineering
Club. With his skills at event management he has organised many
mega sports and cultural events.

Col Naval Kohli has served the Indian Army for 24 years. He has rich experience in human resource development and has specialised in the field of training. He has held instructional tenures and has commanded various logistics units.
Col Kohli has served in Somalia under the aegis of UNITED NATIONS PEACE KEEPING FORCE and has been awarded a French Army medal for distinguished service.
He has attended the Art of Living Course.
